At North Powers Animal Hospital, we understand that your pets are more than just animals. They are beloved members of your family. That’s why we dedicate ourselves to providing the highest level of veterinary care to ensure that your furry companions can enjoy long and healthy lives.
Our Story
At North Powers Animal Hospital, we’re more than just a team — we’re a family of animal care professionals who share a common goal of providing the highest quality care and compassion to our patients and their families. Led by our founder, Dr. Welfare, who has been with the practice since its opening in 2008, we have built a strong culture of mentorship and support that sets us apart from other veterinary hospitals.
After working alone for eight years, Dr. Welfare realized the importance of having a solid team to provide the best possible care to our patients. That’s when he brought Dr. Carlson on board, and eventually bought the property across the street to establish our current location. Since then, we have grown to include five doctors and 30 support staff who share our passion for small animal care.
In addition to our veterinarians, we have a team of support staff who play a vital role in ensuring that our practice runs smoothly. Our support staff includes veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and receptionists who are highly trained and dedicated to providing excellent service to our clients and their pets.
We believe in fostering a family-oriented community where everyone feels welcome and valued. We offer various career growth and development opportunities, including ongoing training and mentorship programs. We also provide a supportive work environment that allows our employees to maintain a healthy work-life balance while pursuing their passion for animal care.

At North Powers Animal Hospital, we are constantly improving our services and procedures to better meet the needs of our clients and their pets. From preventive pet care to urgent pet care, we are well-equipped to handle a wide range of situations.
