North Powers Animal Hospital: An AAHA Accredited Practice!
We’re a Step Above the Rest
Going Above and Beyond to Guarantee the Best Care for Your Pet
Our accreditation is not just a status symbol – it’s a commitment to excellence as a veterinary clinic. AAHA accreditation means that we have undergone a comprehensive evaluation of over 900 standards of veterinary excellence.
This evaluation is performed by veterinary experts who are well-versed in every aspect of pet care. To maintain our accreditation, we undergo a rigorous review every three years to ensure that we meet the highest veterinary care standards as a pet clinic.
What Does AAHA Accreditation Mean?
Did you know that accreditation for animal hospitals is voluntary? Surprisingly, nearly 60% of pet owners are under the impression that many pet clinics are accredited when, in reality, only 12-15% have undergone the rigorous evaluation process by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
State and provincial regulations for animal hospitals can vary widely, meaning the quality of care can vary. Some states only perform inspections when complaints are filed. AAHA accreditation is the gold standard for veterinary excellence and does not vary between states or provinces. The AAHA evaluates hospitals in the U.S. and Canada, upholding an international standard of care.
A Higher Standard of Care Means a Healthier, Happier Pet
Here at our hospital, we proudly say we are AAHA-accredited! When you bring your pet to our hospital, you can be confident that they receive the best care. We are a Veterinary clinic providing excellent care for your pet, and we hold ourselves to a higher standard of veterinary excellence. Our passion is pets, and keeping them healthy is our top priority.
